Dr. Peter Brugger, Executive Pedagogical Director of the AME, performed an outstanding concert at the Foshan Concert Hall during the AME visit in China. He played "Pictures at an Exhibition" by Modest Mussorgsky accompanied by the AME Creative Director Romana Obermairs' unique, escpecially for AME developed visualization which featured real-time drawings of pictures according to the music played by the pianist. After the concert the children were encouraged, to paint their own pictures inspired by the music they've heard before - a table with crayons and hand-outs with printed empty frames were provided. The children loved the AME approach to connect different arts and get therefore a wider and more creative experience to music and to music related arts.
