Our AME-Masterclasses are also inspired by different arts, like literature, painting, and architecture or philosophy. Taking this into consideration it is a big chance to create educational processes to facilitate an aesthetic experience of ordering interconnections between the different arts and music from the famous dynasties in the old time to the famous periods of classic time of the well-known composers up to the musical and cultural needs of our modern society.
ARTISTS IN THE REGION OF SALZKAMMERGUT
It’s probably the astonishing scenery of the Salzkammergut region, with its pristine lakes and the awesome mountains, that inspired famous musicians to compose great music.
Great artists like Brahms, Bruckner, Mahler or Strauss used to come over and over again, flattered by the beauty of this unique landscape, also declared an UNESCO world heritage place, and composed operas, that count to the worlds greatest repertoire of classical music until now!
No wonder that music is still central to the people living there!
